I had so much fun that now I’m kind of on a “Geeky Family” kick and will be sharing a lot of posts, products, and ideas for families who love all things Geek (like us!) I even added a specific board on my Pinterest account! Check it out HERE!
I will definitely have a general book list for the geeky family soon, but today’s segment is for the “Geeky Baby!” Yes, that’s right, products that every geeky parent NEEDS for their infant. These are great gift ideas for the expecting geek mom or great for your own baby!
My last baby shower was Doctor Who themed (thank you, Jasmine!) and I’m sure I am not the only geeky momma out there who would love a Doctor Who, Harry Potter, or Narnian themed baby shower with lots of geeky baby gifts!
Some are these useful, some are just stinking adorable. Ok, most are just adorable… But who doesn’t want to dress their kids up as Harry Potter, right? I have included some products that we have used (or read) and some that I have on my wish list for baby #3 (hint, hint, friends).

Harry Potter Keeper Patches Top and Bottom Set
This one is technically for toddlers, but we saw this at Target when Harper was like 7 months old and had to get it! She’s worn it even when it was too big. Now she fits it really well!

I WISH I had had this for my kids. Actually any milestone blanket would have been cool. I didn’t realize they even existed until my friends were posting pictures of their babies on their cute little floral milestone blankets. If I HAD used one, this would’ve probably been the one I would want! This is a perfect baby shower gift for an expecting geek mom!
9 3/4 Glow In The Dark Hooded Bath Towel
Is there anything cuter than a baby in a hooded towel? The answer is no. No, there’s not.

We are big Doctor Who fans in our house! I even crocheted a Tardis afgan for our family room. My entire classroom is Doctor Who this year! Complete with lifesize Cybermen and Ood on the wall! Here are some great products for any Whovian baby!

This first one is gorgeous… This one is more of a keepsake item. Made by Quetzal Studio, who makes all kinds of personalized music boxes including Disney and your favorite bands! This wooden, personalized music box plays the Lord of the Rings theme (uh, lullaby anyone?). And I want one. For me.
“My Precious” Onesie
It fits even if people don’t get it. My baby is my precious!
Simple, but so cute, and Amazon is just filled with fun novelty stuff. It’s probably not safe for me to be on it!
Road Pointer Wall Decal
If you’re planning on having a geeky nursery, then wall decals are great! For example, here is a Lord of the Rings road sign decal if you’re interested in having your child live in Middle Earth! The wall decals are pretty cool! You can find some for just about any interest.
I Want It All!
What are your favorite baby products for the geeky baby? There are so many great items out there. Onesies are always great, but I love getting baby toys and other products that are part of my fandom! Maybe my kids won’t be as geeky as I am when they get older and can pick their own stuff, so I got do what I can now, right?

I’m so glad you like it! I did not hire a designer. I worked with a theme on WordPress and have been customizing it to my liking a little at a time.
