I am constantly surprised by the immense support that the blogger community has for each other! I have found a great group of other momma’s doing what I’m doing and all building each other up! When your new to the whole world and just want to do well, a great support group can do so much! This is the third nomination I have received by another blogging momma!

7 Things about myself:
- I married my high-school sweetheart! We have known each other all through elementary, junior high, and high school. He is my biggest supporter and my absolute best friend. We have been married for almost 8 years and will have been “together” for 12 years.
- I am a Christian who believes in being a light in the world. I try to live in a way that would honor Christ. Sometimes I’m not very good at it, but praise God for forgiveness!
- I am a soon to be FORMER elementary school teacher. I have a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), ALMOST a master’s. I taught 4th grade for four years, computers for one year, then STEM teacher for this year (they took the computer teacher role away and replace it with the STEM teacher).
- I am quitting teaching at the end of this year to become a stay-at-home mom and full-time ESL teacher with VIPKid (online).
- I have two kids and am planning on having more! Our goal is four. I love my kids and can’t wait to be able to focus on being a mom more.
- I am a big reader! I love the classics. My favorite author is Victor Hugo. His work is so intricate. My favorite book of his is Les Miserables, with Hunchback of Notre Dame right there with it. I also absolutely love great children’s literature. My favorite children’s series is, and always will be, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
- I am a geek who loves musicals, fantasy, sci-fi, and math. My entire classroom this year is Doctor Who themed. Complete with a Tardis door and lifesize Cybermen, Ood, and Dalek on the wall.

Absolutely! Maybe I’ll make a post about it! For now, though, you can see them on my Instagram feed. I posted them at the beginning of the school year when we were getting my classroom ready! My husband created some absolutely beautiful artwork! He is so talented, it’s crazy!
