It is always nice to be recognized by other bloggers. As a new blogger, it is easy to feel discouraged and wonder if anyone is even reading. When someone gives you a shout out, it can be such an encouragement!

Questions from Tamra and Heather (with my answers!)

What was your favorite t.v. show growing up?

That is a difficult one to answer because as a kid, you have different “favorite” shows every other month! I think the show that really stayed with me and continued to be a favorite throughout the years would be Animaniacs. I loved watching it with my mom and all of the references that they made to our favorite movies and shows.

If you could be cast in a movie of your choice, what movie would you choose and which character would you want to play?

I can’t think of a specific movie or character. You know how there’s always a side character, a best friend who’s full of snark and has all the witty remarks while the main character goes through all of their angst and drama? That person. I would want to be them.

If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?

Honestly probably vanilla. I’m nice and sweet, but really not that interesting! Haha

I asked my husband and he said the same thing, so… I guess that’s where we are. His reasoning when I looked a little disappointed was “because that’s my favorite flavor!” Uh huh. Sure it is. 😂

What superpower would you like to have?

Teleportation. No question! I hate travel time. Like even the fact I have to walk ALL THE WAY DOWN MY STAIRS to get food just really annoys me. I hate driving places and I don’t like how long it takes to get there. I’m lazy and impatient so, teleportation. All the way.

What’s your proudest/greatest accomplishment?

I know this sounds cheesy, but, really, my kids. Every time I look at them, I’m like, “Dang, I make great kids!”

Why do you enjoy blogging?

I love blogging because I love writing! It is a way that I can write about what I love and share what I learn with others. I like the idea of people learning something because they read my blog.

If there is one thing in life you would do over, what would it be?

Most of the decisions I have made in life, I have been really happy with. Looking back I do wonder if I should have pursued a career in something tech related.

I didn’t realize until after I started working as a teacher how much I enjoyed technology and that it came pretty naturally to me.

What is your favorite way to spend a lazy weekend?

Reading, binge-watching Netflix, cuddling with my kids. NOT MOVING IN ANYWAY. Yeah that’s the best.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

As said before, I’m vanilla flavored… so doing crazy things is not exactly the way I roll. I guess the craziest thing I’ve ever done would be that I quit my job to pursue my blog and to teach online.

This might not seem crazy but giving up a job that I got a degree for and gives me benefits so that I can do my “side hustles” full time is completely out of character for me.

A Favorite Post of Mine

The challenge says to post a link to your best blog post. I don’t know if this is my best or not but it certainly is one of my favorites. I love writing about my husband and my marriage. One decision that I have never regretted has been marrying my husband… And marrying him as soon as I could!
