About a year ago I came across an ad for a cleaner that claimed that it was all-purpose, non-toxic, and cheaper than other cleaners. This fit all of the things that I needed in a cleaner so I gave it a chance. I am so glad I did! Recently I wrote about the reasons why I LOVE Force of Nature cleaner (go check it out HERE). I really can’t stop bragging about my awesome discovery so now I’m telling you some of the unexpected uses for Force of Nature Cleaner that I have discovered since using it.
Now, full disclosure, I am AWFUL at cleaning… You might be thinking, “Well, why should I listen to you? You just admitted you’re not good at cleaning!” Well, this is exactly why you SHOULD take my word for it. I HATE cleaning. I’m awful at it, yet I love this cleaner and feel like it makes my life easier. If it can make someone who is probably one of the worst housekeepers feel confident in their cleaning abilities, then it must be worth it.
My biggest attraction to Force of Nature is its versatility. I use it for almost EVERYTHING in my house. The only cleaner I buy now is Force of Nature, dish soap/detergent, and laundry detergent. As said before, I stink at cleaning. I never know what cleaner works for what surface and I can’t keep track of which special home treatments work on which stains. Which chemicals aren’t supposed to mix? Is this safe for the tub? Did I rinse it well enough before sticking my kids in it? I need something that works on everything and takes very little thinking! I’m not Martha Stewart.
Most common cleaning needs, Force of Nature is there for you. Mirrors, counters, shower, toilets, floors, EVERYTHING. But here are some unexpected uses for Force of Nature cleaner that you probably didn’t even consider!

7 Unexpected Uses for Force of Nature Cleaner
Makeup Brushes
Yes, you read that right. Force of Nature is so safe, it’s even safe on your skin. You can check their Skin Safe rating HERE. Using dirty brushes can contribute to more acne and skin problems. You can spray your makeup brushes regularly with Force of Nature to keep them clean.
Glasses cleaner
Does anyone actually keep track of those little glass cleaner bottles they give you at the eye doctor? Mine usually gets lost immediately. I use Force of Nature on mine every so often with a microfiber cloth or let’s be real, my t-shirt. If you do like those little bottles, you can get a special Force of Nature travel bottle too!
Jewelry
So sparkly! Force of Nature can make your diamonds sparkle and shine! I let mine sit in a bowl of the cleaner for a few minutes then used a toothbrush to get the little cracks and grooves.
Poop explosions and Food Stains (even old ones)
This is especially great if you use cloth diapers (I don’t. Remember I suck at cleaning-I don’t need more laundry). Soak soiled clothes in Force of Nature for just a few minutes before throwing them in the washer.
This has saved many adorable outfits from being ruined. I have even tried this with old stains (most recently a ketchup stain that had gotten missed). I was shocked that it actually worked.
Toothbrushes
Depending on the size of your bathroom, toothbrushes are a mere few feet away from your toilet. Because Force of Nature is non-toxic, you can use it to sanitize pacifiers, teething toys, and other things that go in the mouth. You spray the object and let it dry for 20 minutes. You don’t even need to rinse. To sanitize your toothbrushes spray them then shake off any residue. No potty mouths!
Underarms of shirts
Some clothes just really seem to hold on to odor, especially workout clothes. Force of Nature is a great deodorizer (it has also replaced Febreze in our house). Stubborn odors can be taken care of just like the poop explosions. Soak the problem spot in Force of Nature for a few minutes before throwing it in the washer. Spray gym bags and shoes too to keep odors out.
Non-dishwasher safe kids’ cups
How annoying is it when those kids’ cups just can’t get thoroughly cleaned? All those little grooves… On top of that, you end up finding a milk-filled sippy cup under the couch that you can’t even guess how many creatures are breeding inside. Even the ones that are dishwasher safe don’t get thoroughly cleaned out. Spray force of nature into all those grooves and get all that nasty stuff out.
I am always finding new unexpected uses for Force of Nature Cleaner! The best part? Each 12-ounce bottle that I make cost a whopping 80 cents! After the starter kit and buying a year’s worth of capsules, I save money on cleaner AND I never worry about buying more cleaner! You can even set up a subscription to automatically replace your supply!

That’s awesome!! It really is super versatile
I. LOVE. IT. On my days off of work I just carry it around everywhere and spray everything. It sort of makes up for the fact that I don’t clean during the week at all. LOL
I had no idea a cleaner existed that can do all of these things! The fact that I can use it on make up brushes and everyday baby stains is a win. Definitely looking into it- would help me clean so much faster and easier!
YES! I am so glad I found it! I can even let my kids help me clean because it’s kid-safe! It looks like it’s going to be expensive when you see the starter kit, but you only buy the starter kit once. When you buy the kit + 1 year’s worth of capsules it’s so worth it! We have saved so much money on cleaning products! I no longer buy other cleaners!
I am loving your idea to use it for stubborn odors. I never thought about soaking the clothing in this before washing. I also love that it is so safe to use around kids!
I do too! My son loves to help clean and now I even let him spray the bottle!
Wow! I’ve never used this cleaner before, but now I feel like I have to try it!
Yes! It’s awesome!
I am totally that person that can’t remember which cleaner goes on what and what mixes with what! Love that I could use this on EVERYTHING!
Yes… The complete lack of thought that is required is what really won me over with this. It also saves a lot of space where you used to store all those different spray bottles.
