I’m sure you have seen the ads on Facebook for this product that is kid-safe and turns salt, water, and vinegar into a cleaner. Well, so did I. And I tried it. The company claims a family-safe, eco-friendly, product that also saves money. I was intrigued. And now, I’m totally in love.
I liked the idea of family-safe since I have little kids. But EVERY other “natural, family-safe, etc” product I looked at was so expensive. You might know by the rest of my posts that I like to save money! I kept seeing people post about these different products that, looking into them, just didn’t seem right for us. They are expensive and have a different product for every little thing…
An all-purpose cleaner that I could use on everything is more my style. I don’t really care if the label is all Pinterest-pretty. I want something that works and I don’t really have to think about.

Money is a huge deciding factor for me! As I said, I don’t like to spend a lot of money. Whatever I use in my house needs to be affordable.
Even after buying the starter kit up front (you need this in order to electrolyze the water) I still don’t spend very much on cleaning products. This is basically my ONE cleaning product other than dish soap and laundry detergent. I bought a big pack of the refill packets and I don’t think I will be running out any time soon.

The product comes out to 7 cents an ounce which is the best you can find for a natural, eco-friendly product. Since I bought it all upfront, I actually feel like I don’t spend ANY money on cleaning products. I have yet to run out, so I haven’t bought cleaner in months.

I make a bottle on my day off, which takes about 5 minutes. I then carry it around throughout my day. I see a mirror that’s grimy, spray and wipe. Toilet needs to be scrubbed, spray and scrub. Stove-top with all the grease that Hubby left behind from making bacon? Spray and wipe. EVERYTHING gets it!
I literally just hook it onto my belt loop like I’m toting a weapon or something, but it makes cleaning easy!
But does it work? How can water, salt, and vinegar be as effective as bleach? I tried it on my stove-top after MULTIPLE bacon grease mornings!

I have gotten a little obsessed! I am still in the exploration process of finding all the different uses for this great cleaner (stay tuned!). So far I have used it on all of my household surfaces with satisfaction. I WISH that I had done a before and after of my shower. There was stuff there that I had not been able to get up with HEAVY scrubbing and bathroom cleaner since we moved in. It came right up! I actually squealed with the first wipe!
Now I’m constantly looking for other great ways to use it! It is safe to let my kids help with cleaning (which is very important to me) and I can even let my 3-year-old spray his little table to clean after a messy meal!
The best part? It’s so easy to clean (even for me-the world’s worst cleaner…)!
